please don't tell me recombinators are nerfed that badly Belton .... it's the only reason I played a league again. If this is true .... i'll just quit. I'm not fond of the sims/civs anyways. And that's funny, I noticed some maps seemed to stretch on longer than I remember too.

I dont get how this is really an exploit though. This to me actually does seem like clever use of game mechanics compared to exploits in leagues past.

So.. Short version, guys found a way to get dozens of a divination card that through all normal, intended means of play takes dozens of maps (at least) to drop once, every single map, with no RNG at all. They used this to create an amount of currency bloat that usually isn't seen until the end of a league inside of a week. They DUMPED this currency into the economy nonstop, making it dramatically harder for players with less free time to nolife the game starting at launch to gear up using normal methods. And yet this guy wants us to believe they're just innocent nerds who found an oversight. No - they were looking for it, they found it ahead of time, and they used it so dramatically that it affected every other player in the entire game. Even with these guys banned, their exploit skyrocketed the gap between the players with free time to go on an early binge starting on launch day, and everyone else - because they spent those divines like they were free (because they were) and gave a large number of divines in the handful of people that already had the shiny stuff they wanted, even at crazy prices.

How do you get so many white sockets? Is there a crafting mechanic to that? This is my first full league, but having as many white sockets as you would be a game changer

Reminds me when blizzard (or should I say activision-blizzard) started banning people in overwatch ranked for playing certain characters which were considered weak by low-ranked scrubs, relegating failure for their inability to balance game for shit onto victimized customers which broke no rules and properly bought a game with an intent to play character they liked without even thinking about possibility of being banned for you know, playing the fucking game. I hope GGG can turn it around and not become another twisted and depraved reflection of its former glory like blizzard did.

TLDR for me: It's smart but it's bad, so it's banned. If this happen last league, which GGG knows is a shit league as well, it will be "ok". This league is very good so far for the majority, so GGG have to make the decision to protect it.

I just started the video so not sure if this is cover or not. Personally what I think is they found an issue with a new mechanic that GGG did not test fully. Was it an exploit technically yes but it was more of an issue with the mechanic that was not tested fully. Dose somthing need to be done yes, but I do not thing a ban. At the same time ggg needs to have better testing for these types of new mechanics in my opinion.

Uses a game mechanic, abuses a game mechanic, gets banned. How the fuck? The most they should have done was to wipe their league characters. So now, i cant find a better way than streamers to make currency that is within game mechanics because i might get banned for playing the game. LMAO

They've essentially created an assembly line to take advantage of a specific mechanic that was dropping guaranteed divines... first of all, kudos for figuring it out and being the first to take advantage of it but you seriously didn't think this was acceptable? I mean every live service game has terms of service and you claim you didn't think this was an exploit? 😅 Only people that would be okay with this are those who have no good intentions, not only for the game but for ggg as a company. And I whole heartedly agree they deserved a ban. They should be glad they can make a new free account, only to do it again

I agree with you except 1 point: how do they know they impacted the market with 15k divine? We all know that not all currency is reflected on the market. And they heard other streamers were thinking about it. So if i were in that situation, i would have never known i was the only guild doing it, let alone knowing it would have been an exploit. I have played since crucible and I have learned absurd tatics how to create currency. So sky's the limit in my mind. If i would have farmed only 250 maps in half a day with guildies, I wouldnt even have known i was exploiting.

i have no clue what this weird justification this is, literally as someone playing for 4 leagues now knows it's beyond obvious it was an oversight, it's beyond obvious when GGG says "well it's an experimental league" doesn't mean"it's now the 1000div/hr league and currency is now zimbabwe levels of worthless", it's beyond obvious when they tested it in standard they were well aware of what it's impact would be and milked the hell out of it, and people getting banned going forward is something hopefully they're consistent on i don't understand the comparison to your/tft mirror services and the profits of this. the amount of people that are trusted to do mirror services is never going to be anywhere near the people who can....put a map and a scarab into a device, like what also he's lying when he said he went to sushi, people had to look at the upper left discord names, look at the tabi/goldwyrn from his trade listing, then the ingame screenshot, and tried to pretend in sushis chat it wasnt him, and only then did he admit to it and start linking sushi items
